Heaven’s Chicken Breast

There’s nothing like tasting a perfectly prepared chicken breast~ a perfectly prepared anything for that matter. I love chicken though. You can go so many different ways with cooking it and I think that's what I love most. Today I'm going with one of my simplest techniques and recipes that will get you some of the juiciest, most tender and succulent chicken breast that you've ever sank your teeth into. It's Heaven's own pan roasted chicken breast.

You’ll be amazed my the flavor that comes out of the simplicity of the preparation. I start by lightly drizzling the chicken breast with a bit of olive oil to help the seasonings stick to the chicken breast. Then I bless it heavily with the GTAM Yard Bird Seasoning followed by lightly seasoning with the GTAM Seasoned Salt to accent the savory flavor and give the chicken a beautiful and crave-worthy color. Next, I sear it just long enough to create a delicious crust and elevate the flavor by adding butter, garlic and fresh herbs to the pan and basting the chicken with the amazing sauce that the butter and aromatics create. The final step is as easy as ABC. Just pop the pan in a preheated oven at 400° and let the chicken breast do what it does in the oven.

This will make one of the most perfect pieces of chicken that you've ever tasted. The combo of the Yard Bird Seasoning and Seasoned Salt creates the most amazingly delicious, savory flavor that will pair with just about any side dish. I used a sweet potato puree and garlic brocoletti. But make no mistake; this is not your traditional roasted chicken flavor because it's seasoned with the best seasoning duo that could ever be used on chicken then seared to lock in the juiciness and delicious taste. Then its bathed in a heavenly, savory butter sauce. Trust me! It tastes like the chicken had been prepared by angels who were hand picked by God himself; and I'm giving you the recipe! Pan Roasted Chicken Breast


  • 1 Boneless, skinless chicken breast

  • 3.5 Tbsp olive oil (divided)

  • GTAM Yard Bird Seasoning

  • GTAM Seasoned Salt

  • 1 Tbsp Butter

  • 2 Crushed Garlic Cloves

  • 3 Sprigs Fresh Thyme

  • 1 Sprig Fresh Rosemary

  • 1 Sprig Fresh Sage

The Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 400°.

  2. Drizzle 1/2 tbsp olive oil over the chicken. Rub it down on both sides.

  3. Season both sides of the chicken generously with GTAM Yard Bird Seasoning then lightly with the GTAM Seasoned Salt.

  4. Heat an oven safe pan over medium high heat then add remaining olive oil.

  5. Once oil reached its smoke point add the chicken breast. Sear on one side for about 3 minutes.

  6. Flip the chicken breast over to sear on the other side. While it‘s searing add butter, garlic and fresh herbs. Don‘t burn the garlic and herbs!

  7. As the butter melts, baste the chicken breast by spooning over the butter sauce.

  8. Flip the chicken back over and baste the other side. Then place in preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°. Cooking times may vary depending on the size of your chicken breast.

  9. Once chicken is done remove from heat and let it rest for about 5 minutes before you cut and serve.
